New school planned for Lyndarum North locals.

January 29, 2026

Seven people in business attire stand in a grassy field with scattered trees and a fence in the background, posing together and smiling on a sunny day.

Lyndarum North locals are set to have a new school on their doorstep, with the developer behind the masterplanned community, AVID Property Group (AVID), announcing independent private school, Hume Anglican Grammar, will be opening its fourth campus located partially within the neighbourhood.

In partnership with neighbouring developer Cedar Woods, AVID facilitated the sale of a 10-hectare land parcel to Hume Anglican Grammar to help boost access to high-quality education options in the region.

AVID Victoria General Manager Penelope Forrest said the sale underscored the developer’s commitment to building connected neighbourhoods designed to support residents in their everyday lives.

“AVID’s support of Hume Anglican Grammar school’s new Wollert campus is grounded in our dedication to building the highest quality communities with connectivity and community spirit at their core,” Ms Forrest said.

“The ongoing partnership between Hume Grammar, Lyndarum North and our neighbours at Mason Quarter will be a major benefit to our residents, and we are thrilled to be part of an exciting new chapter for the region.”

With construction set to commence in 2032 and the campus’ first students expected in 2033, Hume Anglican Grammar in Wollert will grow to become a fully equipped Prep-12 campus set on the largest designated non-government school site in all of Melbourne.
